😊 Introduction

🚨🚨🚨 Update!!! A lot have changed regarding the gear I'm using!!! Take note this post is written a very long time ago so the instruments listed in this post might be long gone!!! 🚨🚨🚨

Hello! I started this blog to note down all moments of my music life. It is for me to look at myself and learn from my own mistakes. But I am definitely happy to have a few audiences reading my posts and commenting to help me improve. 😊

I am actually quite late in blogging music as I have already started playing music a little less than 2 years already. Still, I am quite noob so I think now is still not too late.

Ok a little about the instruments I play...

Firstly, I love electric guitar. Not just love, I am obsessed with it. There are like tons of songs in my music playlist that have connections with electric guitar. I just love the sound of the electrical tone. Awesomeeeeeeeeee. The guitar I use is a Squier Bullet Stratocaster, a sub series of Fender. Here's a picture of it:

Yeap what a beauty. I bought it at $180, brand new at Swee Lee, Bras Basah. Other than its amazingly cheap price, there is also a tremolo bar, which I call it a whammy bar. A lot of guitars don't have it so yeah it's great. Some ask me, why do I go for such low standards guitar. I reply, at least I got a guitar. And who says low standard can't play good music? HAHA. 😎

And then, I play acoustic too. Although I spent significantly lesser amount of time playing my acoustic, I roughly know a few chords here and there. Most of the time I just use my acoustic to practice my electric riffs as carrying an electric guitar around is kinda troublesome. Also, my family don't really like me playing the electric guitar (obviously, just hear the sound of it), so I have to switch to acoustic because sometimes they need a quieter environment. The acoustic guitar I use is an Aria branded electric acoustic, the one where you can plug it into an amp to play live.

Yeap this is it. Bought it at $135, at Davis Guitar, Peninsula Shopping Centre. Quite a firm tone, great for practice.

Of course, strings are very important to any type of guitar. The strings I use are Elixir strings. I don't think we need a picture of that because it is a very famous brand. 😎

Back to my electric guitar, let's not forget about my amplifier and effects board (I don't use pedals cos no $$$). The amplifier I use is an Ibanez IBZ10G amp (just key in this to google and you can get pictures of it). It cost $99, again at a very cheap price at Swee Lee, Bras Basah. Last but not least, the effects board I use is an M13 Stompbox Modeler - Line 6. Bought it second hand from a friend for $300. Quite a fun board cos there are tons of effects to play around with. 🎵

In conclusion, this is roughly what I will use for my later posts. Enjoy! 😊
