🚂 Enter PedalTrain

I couldn't believe my eyes when I laid hands on this Classic 2; it is in mint condition for a little more than half the price of a brand new one. Yes, you heard right, it is a PedalTrain Classic 2. I chanced upon this seller on Carousell listing this board at $140, with the original soft case and an additional pair of power brackets. Immediately I compared that price to that of a new one from Swee Lee. Swee Lee was going at $230 brand new with soft case. I straight away placed my offer to that seller.

I was doubtful at first because he mentioned it is in mint condition; who would sell it so cheap for mint? Nothing's stopping me anyway. I met up with him on 22 Decemeber 2015 and found out that he is a kind Christian Filipino guitarist, and that explains everything. He only used it once for worship and realised it doesn't fit his requirements so he put it up for sale. And I am the lucky guy who got it. Here are the pictures of it:

 Very awesome looking board!!!

A huge surprise came when I found out it was already velcroed. That saves me the trouble to velcro it again. Sweet!
The bag itself is pretty slick too!
The seller also threw in free power brackets to mount power supplies under the board. That is something I really look forward to on a PedalTrain board, the ability to mount power supplies underneath. Next up, I clinched another sweet deal with another seller on a daisy chain power supply two days later (24 December 2015). Yes, this is not really what I had in mind when I planned my board but because he was going crazily cheap as well I just had to buy it. After all, once I get my isolated power supply, selling this daisy chain won't so much hurt at all.

The story is, all these wires and that power supply add up to just $16. My oh my $16 is crazy cheap. I figured it will power my few little pedals for now. The interference noise won't be much of my concern for now so it is great to have at least a daisy chain supply with me.

Well, although selling my M13 at $300 covered this board and this daisy chain, it won't even be enough for what's coming. Thus, more have to go. The first that went was the telecaster I bought exactly one month back. I bought it at $99, and sold it today at $90. Not bad. I managed to record at least a video of me playing it and I also got the feel of playing a telecaster. Well, I sure will miss that telecaster so the next time I lay hands on a tele, it will be a Fender Telecaster. :)

The next listing on my carousell is my Fender gig bag, going at $30 (original price 2 years ago was $33.90 at Swee Lee). Well, that's all I can sell. The rest of my gear is strictly untouchable. Tomorrow, I will be meeting up with a pedal seller whom has reserved 3 Boss Pedals for me since last week. They are Boss OS-2, Boss RV-5 and Boss CS-3, all in mint condition. I hope it will go well and yeah, will update again in the next few days. :)

O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
