ðŸŽĩ Pedals!!!

The past few days, I can say, were the busiest carousell days of my life. Running to Raffles Place to and fro, meeting sellers and selling to buyers... All for just 4 pedals...

Again, I got these pedals at the lowest price in the market for it's quality and condition. In my previous post, I mentioned I will be getting three Boss pedals, now I got four. :) First, I noticed extra gear lying around my cupboard, so I sold them off first before buying anything. They were my Fender padded gig bag and a never-used China-made telecaster red tortoise pickguard.

For future reference: I clearly remember Monday (28 December 2015) I was meeting a buyer of my gig bag at 12pm at Tanjong Pagar, then the pickguard buyer at Raffles Place at 12.30pm and the 3 Boss pedals seller at 1pm. All three deals went super smoothly as I earned $30 from the Fender gig bag which was originally $33.90 at Swee Lee 2 years ago and $10 from the pickguard which I got it free from someone else.

The main part of that day was the pedals deal. A Filipino guy was my seller. He sold me 3 mint condition Boss pedals, with 2 patch cables complimentary. Boss Digital Reverb RV-5 @ $150, Boss Compression Sustainer CS-3 @ $80, Boss Overdrive/Distortion OS-2 @ $85. Total $315 but he discounted to $280 so that was a heck of a deal to me. Below are the pictures of the pedals:

After I got home, I received another message from another seller selling a Boss Digital Delay DD-3 @ $110. Immediately I agreed seeing that its in great condition too. I met him at 7.30pm on Monday. Deal went smoothly but no patch cable was included. Total cost spent on four Boss pedals is $390, what an amazing start!!!

Thankfully all four pedals came velcroed so I didn't have to worry about that.

The problem now is the lack of patch cables and the lack of an isolated power supply. Yes, now I understand why daisy chain is so noisy. I wasn't doing anything, just my guitar sitting there, all plugged in, there's this super irritating buzzing sound coming from the amplifier. I can't even hear much difference when adjusting pedals settings. So next up is to buy some patch cables and an isolated power supply before bringing in more pedals.

Well, at least now I have something to work with. Presenting Pedalboard Version 1!! Onwards to more research!!!

O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
