Finally, I sat down, after all the selling and buying, and recorded something in such a long time. Recently, I ventured deeper into Guns N Roses songs and found this amazing piece by Slash again. This time, it is Knockin' On Heaven's Door, one of GnR's most famous songs. I love this 1st solo a lot because there aren't all the speed sweeping stuff going on. It's just the bends and slides that are so nice. It didn't take me long to learn it because it's just so easy. The video is small enough to be uploaded here so here it is:

But, as I was playing, I encountered a minor issue which wasn't shown in this video. My B string is facing buzzing problems. I have detected it to be in the first few frets; the B string is touching the metal frets. It is so so annoying when I'm trying to tune the guitar. Seems like another trip to the guitar shop. This time, I'm staying to make sure he does a good job.
And of course, I already have in mind what to aim for next. I seriously need to upgrade my amplifier. This little Ibanez home amp just can't cut it anymore. All my gear now are legit gear except for my amp. Also, I need to get a video taper soon. Recording using my phone and iPad is great, just that it can be better with equipment meant for recording. So much to buy, so much to fix, so much to practice and play! Till next time!
