🎸 Ibanez miKro Bass

Welcoming a new bass guitar into my arsenal today. This bass guitar has been floating around in the sales order for over a month due to payment issues. This bass costed me SGD$300 in total. Today it finally arrived and I couldn't be happier. Presenting to you, the Ibanez miKro Bass GSRM20 in Weathered Black!

As some of you might have remembered, I previously owned a Yamaha TRBX174EW bass guitar and promptly sold it away. Two reasons why I sold it away. One reason was I didn't know how to listen to the bass groove and was just curious about the bass guitar in general. Curiosity ended the moment I figured it wasn't working. The other reason is that the Yamaha one was a full-scale bass.

 And that is precisely why I ordered a short-scale bass this time. As a guitar player, I am more comfortable with a scale length that's similar to my guitars. Makes playing so much smoother and easier. Then again, after playing on stage for more than a year, I've come to realise that the bass groove is actually so damn important.

I'm gonna seriously start learning bass guitar basics because nowadays I can filter out even the bass sounds from any given song and it's very irritating to keep it stuck in my head but not know how to play it. Immediately purchased a bass preset pack from 3 Sigma Audio for both my Helix and HX Stomp.

The itch to start jamming is very real. The itch to start recording in parts is also very real. Where's my MacBook now?
