Here is the Squier Classic Vibe 50's Stratocaster, and it's the 60th anniversary version in Aztec Gold. For a 10 year old guitar, this one is surprisingly in superb condition. Like the metals are all still shiny new! It's crazy! The last time I had a Stratocaster was so long ago! I still miss the Deluxe Strat so much! But this post is not about Fender, it is about Squier!
With this $500 purchase, I instantly ordered new string trees for $3 and Gotoh locking tuners for $87, both in gold to match the theme. No choice, locking tuners are my must-have along with stainless steel frets, except that sadly this guitar does not have. Maybe I might go for a re-fret when I have a stable income from a full-time job next year!
With the Jethro Thinline valued at $630, Squier Bass at $340, Yamaha acoustic at $660 and now this Squier Strat at $590, I have a $2220 stable set of gear for all my covers! Absolutely value in these mid-range gear! Can't believe that the Yamaha could actually be the most expensive guitar I have in my arsenal at this point in time!

*As of 22nd May 2025, this guitar has been sold for $390, inclusive of the locking tuners. :(
