🎎 This Really Is Amazing Grace

This cover represents the peak of my music journey. How long has it been, 11 years? Today in my guitar cover, I used almost every gear I own, except for a few pedals and amp simulators. Here's the cover before I explain anything else.

So, I'm on MC today because the big boss as work told me not to turn up for work if I'm still coughing and sneezing. Command was given so I obeyed. Decided to bring out the entire arsenal for a jam since the weather is rather splendid.

This cover is the first ever moment I recorded with the Ultra 2 Strocaster and the Squier Affinity Bass, while it is also the first cover I used both the Line 6 Helix Floor and personal pedalboard with different guitars. What a life!

The first guitar I picked up for this recording was the Fender Ultra 2. Sadly, there were some noise problems running the Strat into the Line 6 Helix and even an HX update to version 3.8 didn't help. So I switched to my manual pedalboard to cover the rhythm portions.

Lead guitar verse 2 was where my pedalboard cannot fulfil, the polyphonic pitch shifting. So I had to go back to the Helix. Thankfully, humbuckers seemed to work just fine. So I recorded the lead guitar parts with my Gibson Les Paul into the Helix.

Swapped back to my pedalboard for the bass guitar parts because there is this one sick ass bass patch in my Stomp and it's the closest sound I can get to an amp in the room.

Finally, ended with an acoustic running back into the Line 6 Helix just because I can. HAHAHAHA. What a great life!

O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
