Big news... Big big news. So right, apparently, Swee Lee just alerted me via email that their shipment of the Squier Classic Vibe 50's Butterscotch Blonde Telecaster just arrived on Tuesday night. I could literally feel the excitement build up in my blood because I've been reading tons of great reviews on that guitar and I just can't wait to lay my hands on one.
Throughout the past few months, I've been hunting for that guitar everywhere. For guitarists combing Carousell everyday, the user 81_decibels should be a familiar name. Yes, I pestered him once every few weeks on his shipment on the guitar, and I was turned down every single time. Even in Malaysia, during my church camp, I went to Midvalley's instrument store to try my luck. Nope, it seems that my only hope is with Swee Lee.
So I practically gave up. I couldn't possibly fly to the US just to buy a China-made guitar, could I? All I can do is to keep on watching YouTube reviews on the guitar and just enjoy the guitar through the screens of my devices. Until today.
Tonight, I pressed that transfer button, that funds transfer button. $569, on this brand new Telecaster. And I'm dead sure I won't be spending wasted money on it. I have literally watched every single YouTube video on the Squier CV Tele, and not one of them is a bad review. So for the next few days, I'm gonna arrange a suitable time with Swee Lee to collect my guitar.
