🎸 Is My Life Complete?

So here comes the new guy. 🎸 Hehe.

And finally, my fourth and final guitar has been added to my collection. This means now I can cover 99% of the guitar styles in the world, with a million tones at my fingertips (geddit?). 😎 Enough talk, pictures first, then I will summarise what happened so far.

Unboxing when I reached home yesterday night. Was so exciting I was trembling. Haha.

Well, bad news is, these are the only pictures I took yesterday. I was quite busy meeting friends for supper so I couldn't really test or take anymore pictures. I did a thorough inspection of the guitar though. Everything was perfect, except... Hehe there will always be exceptions... Except, the nut was poorly done. No surprise, it's a plastic nut, made in China.

Oh well, I shall change it to a bone nut another time. Also, the joint at the neck plate area wasn't as perfect as my Gibson (Haters gonna hate, but what else can I compare it to at the moment?). Still for $569, this is one hell of a guitar. Good news is, I took more pictures today in the morning. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

So this is it, presenting to you, the Squier Classic Vibe '50s Maple Neck Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde. What an amazing guitar for a price like that. Online reviews say it even beats the Mexican Telecasters which cost a hundred dollars more. Well, I have yet to try it out myself but I got faith in the reviews. :) Next up, here's the picture of my "gang". πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

If this isn't happiness, then what is? πŸ˜

P.S. The one hanging at the background is my dad's Yamaha Classical.

And finally, here are some "Instagram-worthy" images of my guitars...

Ok done. That's all the pictures for now. Now, a little bit of background on my hunt for the CV Tele. As mentioned in the previous post, I have been hunting this guitar for quite awhile now because of the online reviews. It's crazy I couldn't find someone that thinks this guitar is a waste of money, except for those kids who are always picking on the brand. I have heard how great this guitar plays, but I have yet to play it thoroughly myself.

Then, finally Swee Lee alerts me to their stocks update. Immediately, I ordered it online, knowing that it will sell out fast if I don't strike first. Then, it surprised me that they processed my order quite fast and I can collect it the next day, which was yesterday. But for $569, they didn't provide me any gig bag so I had to bring my own Gibson gig bag (which explains the 2nd picture). Oh, and did I mention, I am pretty particular about the box as well. That time when I collected my Gibson, I was pretty angry that they threw away my box. Me seeing the guitar being taken out of the box comforts me that I'm the first to touch that guitar, not any random salesperson.

So after that Gibson encounter, I specifically requested Swee Lee to leave everything in place just as it was shipped over. And I am quite happy that I plan to keep the box for no reason. Hehe. Unboxing a guitar can be one of life's best moment so I would rather do it myself than some noob salesperson. Anyway, for now, I am just trying to find a time when my family is out of the house to record some demos. πŸ€”

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase so yeap, my life is complete,.. πŸ˜

Almost.

Because I still have my pedalboard to build, But guitars wise, I'm contented as it is right now. πŸ˜Š

Signing off!

O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
