Ordered both the Ionic Audio 9V adapter and the Mission Engineering 529 power supply on the very same day on 1st June 2019. I got the 9V adapter for $45 on Reverb while the 529 was priced at $249 from Sweetwater including shipping. Both took some time to ship and here they come!
Thankfully, I've used a few pedal power supplies in my life and I know what to look out for. Firstly and most importantly, power cable's polarity. The Ionic Audio came with 2.5mm male, which is perfect for the HX Stomp. The 529 came with all 2.1mm, which are perfect for regular pedals.
Rated at 2000mA, I'm pretty darn sure the HX Stomp doesn't even draw close to that amount. This adapter compared to the one Line 6 supplied is way smaller. Like really, that's the hottest topic on every Stomp users' mind. Power.

Also on the 1st of June 2019, I rushed to the IT Show at Marina Bay Sands to purchase this power bank from Anker. Saw it being used exactly the way I wanted it to online. So without hesitation this power bank was my choice too! Priced at $49.90 with such a small footprint, it is perfect for this project.
With all these on hand, and the two new pedals previously mentioned, it's time for phase 3!!!
