This time, two is not nearly enough at all and I need more. Unfortunately, Singapore is low on stock for this cable everywhere. Sound Alchemy closed down and Yamaha physical store out of stock. Eventually had to order from Yamaha Online and pay the $5 delivery fee. :(
But of course, there's good news and it's that I clinched the Dunlop Mini Volume pedal today! Posted an ad on Carousell saying I'm looking for that pedal and sure enough, somebody approached me with a superb condition one for $150. Knowing that it is $39 cheaper than if I buy brand new, I scored it.
With precise calculations by taking into account the thickness of the EBS patch cables, I was able to squeeze in the volume pedal on my Metro 16 for a perfect fit. This is one of the happiest moments in my guitar journey for sure.
The only truly final piece is the compressor pedal in the space reserved for it on top. Seriously looking at buying back the SP Compressor because of its size. It would be a perfect fit given the nature of my board.
Today I had the chance to test this unfinished board live on stage. The Fulltone OCD-Ge and Marvellous Engine sounds super duper similar, resulting in me knowing I will drop the Marvellous Engine sooner or later. But no rush for that one. In the future, that would be a standard-sized pedal space up for an effect that goes before dirt pedals, and I think I know the exact pedal I want there.
The board is looking REAL good right now and I'm super satisfied with it. If space and portability isn't an issue, I would gladly bring this board out for all my future uses, with the Helix Floor as backup. Hehe...
