| Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Jr |
Welcome back to my blog people! Today, I bought yet another pedal for my pedalboard version 1.9! Hopefully this will be the 2nd last pedal (excluding a tap tempo) which I will be adding onto my board! Don't want that GAS to suck my bank account dry! πΈ
Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Jr, finally a volume pedal for me. It is always a headache when it comes to plugging or unplugging my guitar because I can't mute my overall signal. But now I can, but that's not the main purpose of getting a volume pedal. Haha. Volume swells, good for ambient music. I have been interested in ambience for a while now, but couldn't do much without swells. I have struggled between the Dunlop volume pedals and this Ernie Ball one. Both seems equally on par. The Dunlop one is more stable with no string breakages but the EB is on most pedalboards. Got the EB in the end because I happen to see it on sale first. Bought it from a Soft user for $90, in amazing condition. π
For now, I hope the string can stay intact for the next few years or so because I heard it's a torture to change it. As for updates on my guitar life, right now, I am going to prepare for an acoustic gig on 7th December. It's a small scale stage worship set so I am going on my acoustic instead. Unfortunately the acoustic strings broke yesterday and I've been too lazy to go buy new strings today. Hopefully I can get a pack soon and return to my practice. π
I have ordered a Tap Tempo Pedal Kit from PedalPartsPlus USA and the parcel is already being shipped. Hopefully it will arrive intact and not in pieces. Haha. Finally, the last pedal I have in mind is the TC Electronic Polytune 2. I am already putting up my Ditto Looper for sale or in exchange for a Polytune. Hopefully can get it settled soon! π£
Peace out!
