I've known these things exist for quite a while now. But up till now I didn't find a reason to get these footswitch toppers. The only reason I got these colourful toys is because I've got nothing much to buy now and it seems fun to try something new.
$10.50 per 10 pieces is actually quite cheap. So I bought 20 from this Guitar Avenue at Parklane Mall today. I actually think Mooer makes some pretty nifty stuff. Thankfully all 10 per pack is of different colours!
Woah now my Line 6 Helix looks more alive than ever. The only downside to this is that I can't see the original footswitch light. I haven't tested this setup live so I'm not too sure either. I'll probably play one set soon with these toppers and see how things goes.
To be honest, I am actually happy it offers so much protection for the switches and actually facilitates my practice at home because my bare feet always activates the touch sensors. If there's one thing about my Helix patches, it is that colour is everything to me, and these toppers just makes it go up one level.
