🌱 Here Comes 2020

For 2020, I actually have nothing much in mind. It's gonna be a really really busy year for me in terms of work due to the upcoming overseas exercise at the end of the year. There is so much to do, but so little time. Still, I'm gonna set myself some goals that hopefully I will be able to achieve in due time.

First up, I wanna improve on my media production skills. Up till now, I can still only do Windows Movie Maker standard videos only. To me that's enough, but to everyone else, that's just basic level. In order for me to remotely achieve that, a new laptop has to come in.

Enter the MacBook Pro, slated to be my workhorse laptop for years to come. With the powerful media capabilities, I can now put my dreams of being a one-man-band to action. I am finally going to utilise the Ibanez Micro Bass that's been under my bed ever since I got it.

Next up, definitely improve on my solo-ing skills. I can now do a basic single line solo upon being given the key of the song on the spot. Sounds good to me but nowhere near what a real solo sounds like. I find myself playing more and more in between the different lines in the verses of songs in church, which is a good thing. Now I just want to play something nice.

Not gonna put so much aspirations for a busy year ahead so here's one last one. Finally, I wanna be able to master the Helix. It's been more than a year yet I think I have only scratched like the surface of its capabilities. I have to find time to put my heart and soul into learning the different ways I can put this beast to work.
