Today I went for a church service at Impact Life Church and was amazed by everything I saw and felt. I have truly forgotten what is it like to worship God wholeheartedly. For once I didn't care who the musicians are on stage because I don't even know them and they didn't know me. It was a whole fresh experience, a second chance.
In this song, I used my EC-1000 (obviously) and the Fried-Z patch from Worship Tutorials. I ran it through a whole slew of effects, mainly huge drives and spacey delays. God Is Able is in 79 BPM, which fits very well with a dotted 8th tone. There aren't many effects switching because only the verse and 1st chorus uses lesser drive.
It's a fun and easy song to play. The melody hanging at the background is really obvious once you notice it's there. You can never un-notice it ever again. Huge lead riff for the intro and turnaround, very Hillsong-y style. An absolute classic. I recorded it once before but this time this version is of higher quality.
Can I just say again I love this guitar a lot? This guitar never fails to remind me of the freedom I felt when touring New Zealand. This is the same exact freedom I wanna feel whenever I'm with God. Both to me, are the only kind of freedom I'll ever need.
