ðŸŽļ The One-In-One-Out Policy

The title of this post basically sums up everything I'm about to type in this dedication post. As most might have already known, I have to sell one guitar if I'm buying another one, keeping my total at 2 electrics, 1 acoustic and 1 bass. Today, because of the EC-1000's entry, one of my two existing guitars had to go.

And given the nature of the EC-1000 being a single cut guitar equipped with humbuckers, it makes the most sense a similar guitar will have to give way. The Gibson LP Standard 2013 has brought me so much joy these past 8 months. Finally, I got it sold for $2250 to the same guy who bought my Gretsch G5420T guitar.

I brought it on stage countless times and had pleasant memories with it. I remember I got it for $2300 after much negotiation with the seller and even went to his house to test the guitar. I even remember seller's name was Ker Liang. That was also the day I learnt of the existence of Aristides guitars.

Certainly sad memories to see this one go even though I was never a fan of the honey burst finish. I guess any finish on a Gibson really will look great in different light settings. I may have sold a Gibson LP Standard, but I'll never leave the Gibson market. My doors are always open to the next Gibson LP that is sure to come in the future!

📖 Psalm 95:1-2

O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
