ðŸŽĩ Another CC?!?!

Another CC added to my pedalboard indeed. ðŸ‘‘

Fun fact: Corona means "crown" is Spanish. I believe I can regard this as a royal pedal because crowns are objects of royalty. Jokes aside, yes, this is the TC Electronics Corona Chorus. In the end, I really got rid of the DD-3 just to make space for this pedal. Don't get me wrong, DD-3 is amazing, but I do want to try out a Chorus pedal. A shout-out to brother Josh who bought the DD-3 from me: Have fun with the pedal! For reference purposes, I bought this Corona Chorus on 27th October 2016 for $130, 2nd hand. ðŸ˜Ž

The main thing that attracted me to the Corona Chorus (I don't think I can use the short form CC now; it might confuse people with the Carbon Copy) is the TonePrint function. I have been toying with the HoF reverb's TonePrint for the past week and it's nothing short of amazing. The TonePrint function works in a very cool way too. You aim your smartphone's speaker into your pickups and bam, the pedal now registers the new effect. Pretty slick! I have seen this pedal on many boards so I think this will be a very cool pedal to add onto my board. Once again, I still have 9 pedals so wiring problem is still unsettled. That, however, cannot outweigh the fact that I can start playing around with another TonePrint pedal now! ðŸ˜‹

Talking about TonePrint, I just wanna note down one particularly amazing reverb TonePrint for the HoF reverb. Don't get me wrong, the pedal itself is already one hell of a reverb, but it doesn't have shimmer. I know, I know, if HoF included shimmer, then all the boutique pedals company will have to eat grass. Still, that didn't stop me from obtaining an effect very very close to shimmer. I say, the TonePrint function of TC Electronics is very very handy. It is a very simple and effective system. (Turn the knob to "TonePrint", plug in your cable, point your phone's speaker at your selected pickup, blast whatever that eerie sound that comes from the TonePrint app, and done, you have downloaded the sound into your pedal). I have tried a few, namely Steve Vai's Ocean Reverb, Greg Koch's weird reverb, and my number one favourite reverb, the Lucasonic Reverb. It's just crazy awesome when playing clean and I just can't get enough of it. Do try it out if you have a Hall of Fame Reverb!

And with that, I have broken my all time record for the number of posts in a month again! Definitely won't be doing this again because I am getting busier by the days! But I do have a few more songs I really really wanna cover because it's just so addictive! ðŸ˜‹

O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
