Uh oh, I accidentally bought another guitar pedal after telling myself that the Dunlop Mini Wah would be the last. Whatever the case, I do have my story to tell regarding this irregular purchase.
I was casually scrolling through Carousell when I saw an MXR Carbon Copy going for $110 and I managed to cut it to $100 after trying my luck. I was about to back out after he agreed because why on earth would I need another delay pedal?
Then with the same seller, I saw him selling the Tumnus Deluxe for $230. My my, that's a pedal that I've been hunting for quite a while. And again I managed to cut the price till $200. Thinking about it, both Carbon Copy and Tumnus for $300, super worth.
Rode to Admiralty first thing after I woke up to collect the pedals. I could literally sell away the Carbon Copy at a good price if I have to sell it off so I don't mind keeping it for now. After all, I have no plans of buying another guitar yet.
Ok so I have been searching for this pedal way before I got the Helix. Wampler's best selling pedal is the normal Tunmus and here I have the Deluxe version of it. I would say it is as versatile as the Timmy, which dearly reminds me of my golden Timmy.
The best thing about this pedal is that its jacks are at the top, which makes pedalboarding much simpler. This makes me feel like assembling a board centered around the HX Stomp now. Then again, I'm a little lazy because the full Helix is everything I need.
Then there's this pedal which I don't really know what to do about. I would probably sell it away when I need the cash because I'm not really a fan of delays that I can't tap tempo or see its numbered settings.
In conclusion, I'm back to pedalling. Either I get another guitar, or I get another pedal. There's no end to tone.
