🎎 Revisited: Solution

For my third cover in a month (no I don't usually do so many covers), the song choice is a revisit to Solution by Hillsong United.

This time, not every pedal on my board is utilised. The TS9 and the Nano POG are the only ones off throughout the song. Same usual Hillsong dotted 8th digital delay at 150BPM. Timmy on for the clean boost and HoF 2 on for the spring reverb that is always so sweet. SP Compressor is standard. OCD is only switched off near the start of the bridge for the quieter parts. Volume pedal is used to mute some sounds when I'm not playing.

Ran my rig into the Tech 21 Blonde for some classic clean amp emulation before running everything into the Focusrite 2i4 audio interface. Recorded with Ableton Live 9 Lite which explains the clear and crisp quality. There are some clipping of my distortion towards the chorus parts though, so that is something I have to take note in the future.

Other than that, it was quite a wonderful guitar cover! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole process!

📖 Psalm 95:1-2

O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
