*Picture is too old and has been removed*
This is probably the best arrangement I can achieve as of today. As shown, the Polytune 2 is back on board and the pedal that got pushed out was the Tubescreamer. That's right, my oldest pedal has been removed. Against the Riot and OCD, the TS9 didn't stand a chance at all. Given my digital amplifier and direct-in situations in church, the TS9 is really out of place.
And so yesterday, the TS9 was sold for $110. I bought this pedal in September 2016 at $90 so it has been with me for quite a while. After so much memories with it, I still got to earn a $20 profit. Cool stuff! And with one pedal out, another one fills its place. What could the new pedal be?
Yeah that's right, now I've come to address my post's title. I used to own a Ditto Looper Mini but eventually sold it away as I couldn't justify keeping a pedal just for home usage. Amongst the problems of mini Ditto are the pedal's stability when being stepped on and the one-switch-do-it-all nonsense. And here comes the Ditto X2, addressing all of those issues with some upgrades too!
Since I am considerably richer than I was in 2016, keeping a pedal just for home usage is acceptable for me now, especially for required practices. This pedal comes with a dedicated stop switch which is super important than just tapping twice in my opinion! I guess I will be using this looper pedal more often that I did with its mini counterpart!
Now the next part of this post is off-topic, but putting it in this post spares me from creating another separate one. Today, I brought my Yamaha FSX830C for a setup and installation of the strap pin at a workshop belonging to some guy I met on Carousell. As opposed to a previously thought price of $100 total (another guy), I only paid $50 today.
And that's the strap pin being installed onto the Yamaha. The guy did quite an good job. The only flaw is the soft cushion in between the pin and the point of contact was made from some lousy material. I had to transfer my own one from my other guitars (ones that I don't really carry around). Today's setup made the Yamaha's fretboard really smooth. I cannot actually believe how easy it is to press the 12th fret as compared to the SA-1. Plays like butter, plays like a dream.
My Classic Vibe's strap pins have been changed to black. Found another set of spare pins in my drawer so I installed them on. Looks quite sick as it complements the black and yellow colour scheme of the Telecaster.
With that, this probably marks the end of January 2018. Been a busy month but I got things to work out still. As driving course in army begins, I might have even lesser time now. Each day I only got 3 hours to myself and I already spent half that time eating dinner and showering. Who knows how long more will I be able to play my guitars again...
