ðļ My Dream Guitar Part 6 - Time & Money
So my Warmoth parts finally arrived on Thursday evening. Super duper exciting to see my ordered parts with my own eyes and feel it with my own hands. Neck feels superb, a heavier yellow with satin nitro finish!!!
Body construction is amazing, feels super lightweight! Unfortunately, the Butterscotch Blonde body seemed a little duller than I expected. But I've read online that as the guitar "breathes" and get exposed to natural sunlight, the colour will brighten up to my desired yellow! But ultimately, it's still beautiful to me.
As of now, I have contacted a Carouseller to help me piece my guitar together. A few holes are needed to be drilled. Tuner pilot holes, string tree holes, pickguard mounting holes and strap pin holes. He will also help me do the wiring as well as application of Fender decal.
Meeting him on Sunday to discuss the price and time. Expected to spend a little more now after the deliverer arrived and charged me well over a hundred bucks for GST. Pissed me off. I would now do anything to complete this guitar since I've came so far.
Only time will tell. I really hope this guitar can be finished before my birthday on 23rd October.
Meanwhile, Line 6 just dropped this little bugger and I can really see myself dropping like $900 on it when it reaches my shore. Called the HX Stomp, this Strymon-sized pedal can do everything that my Helix Floor does, except run 32 effects of course. It's literally mini-Helix and I could see myself using this pedal as a backup to my main Helix, or an acoustic rig, or an audio interface, or a practice studio.
I have contacted Maranatha Music (where I bought my Helix from) and placed an order for this HX Stomp. This is the "Money" part of this post. This month of October gonna be spending month again, for sure. This pedal is a no-brainer; it will replace my current Polytune 2 (which I just sold for $80) and Focusrite 2i4.
More to come soon!

ð Psalm 95:1-2
O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
