Desert Song by Hillsong United is a very emotionally powerful song. It is a very relatable song especially for me. Punchy licks throughout the song and overall a very nice song.

Today, I used my brand new Edcaster guitar for this guitar cover. I've only owned it less than 2 weeks and I am already very excited about how I can use this guitar to serve God. The vintage noiseless single coils really shone out throughout the video and the colour of the guitar is just stunning.
This time, the only gear I used are the guitar, amplifier and Line 6 Helix Floor. Yeah I did not use the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 audio interface at all. Wanted to give the Helix interface a try and it does sound clearer than the 2i4. Seems like it's time for the 2i4 to go as well!
Used the Hillsong/Droff patch from Worship Tutorials and thrown delay into every part of the song. Classic dotted 8th in the riffs and quarter delay everywhere else. The Scarlett Love overdrive effect sounded amazing. Really really amazing.
This song is really fun to play too. Great huge riff out front, strong licks in the verses, big open chords within the choruses. Littered with their dotted 8th in 120bpm everywhere in the song. Powerful lyrics too!

Since I didn't use the Focusrite 2i4 in this video, I may have no need for the 2i4 anymore. The Helix Floor serves as an excellent audio interface. With a world class audio interface, why would I still need the 2i4? Yeah I kinda sold it away for $170 on Sunday, huge loss on my side. At least this beats the dust layering on it when it's lying there untouched.
That's it. Enjoy and peace out!
