Until my Edcaster arrived. I couldn't find anything wrong with the Telecaster's wiring myself nor have I heard any weird noises when running it through the Helix Floor. The only instance an annoying hum develops is when I run it through the HX Stomp into my headphones. Pretty strange.

The hum goes away when I touch the metal parts of the guitar, leading me to conclude that it's the infamous grounding hum issue. I've already gone so quiet with my Vintage Noiseless pickups and ensured that the wiring is correct, yet a hum is detected. Something is wrong and I just can't point out where.

In the end I gave up and that's my last straw. Contacted a Carousell dude who is selling the Line 6 G10 for $200 and I jumped the gun. Looks quite new from the pictures and it was indeed new, with no usage marks at all! Seller thinks that the G10 "sucks tone" so he sold it to me 3 months after initial purchase.

Honestly speaking, I am super duper amazed at the sound quality of the G10 system. Sound is transmitted as though I had a physical cable! And the hum is no more!!! And I even plan on using it to walk around the hall to listen to myself during rehearsals!

This device seriously brought convenience to a whole new level. Looks like I'll be keeping this purchase for a very very long time. Now back to mugging version 2.7 on both Helixes!!!
